November 10-12 - The Hornet trip to Battleship Tournament is this weekend. I'm sure all of you (both current side and HOBOs) have heard of this by now. It should be a great time and trip.  The Old Boys portion of the tournament is only on Saturday November 11. It's an over 35 tournament so there will be some feisty sides. We absolutely need to get a head count of the number of Hornet Old Boys that plan on traveling and play. More than likely we will need to subsidize our team with other players. Please contact Chris Trotter and Jim Henson if you are going to play. This is a must because if we need to recruit additional players it needs to be done very soon. Please coordinate if you are planning on sharing a room, only one of the occupants needs to reserve it. There is discussion of a charter bus if we can get numbers and commitment.  This would be huge to have a bathroom on board for the long trip and drinking. Long story short we need to know your commitment to this tournament.  Please email matthewmerrick@gmail.com and jdh1965@verizon.net with your plans and commitments.  It's been a while since the Hornets have traveled to a tournament like this. Last year the actives went to Carbondale and won the All Fools Tournament. At Battleship it will be both the current squad and HOBO's playing and looks to be a hell of a time!!
