Great numbers represented both the Hornets and Bombers for old boys weekend. The Old Boys kicked off the afternoon in a match for the Ages…..literally. The combined ages on the field appeared greater than ever before!! But that didn’t stop a lot of great rugby and big hits all over the pitch. Bryan “FSU” Carey was able to help the cause with a 60 meter try down the middle of the pitch. Jerry Butler converted the kick. Man of the Match was awarded to Jeff Fassil who played tremenous at the full back position.

The current Hornets and Bombers battled in the second game. Although the Bombers came out quickly with a few scores early, the Hornets were equal to the task and played evenly with the Bombers for the remainder of the day. This was a great game for the Hornets and creates some tremendous momentum as they roll into Cup play. Jimmy Crouch and Brandon Vogesadded scores.
